Tonight was end of school celebration in our household - which consisted of takeout Chinese food from our favorite restaurant, which we ate while watching Game 7 of the Stanley Cup playoffs between the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Since the Wings won the cup last year, 1/2 of our family was rooting for the

Pens and the other the Wings. It was neat to see the Pens were able to win. What is really neat, is that back in February, when I was in Quebec with my older son we met Mario Lemiux - who is the owner of the Pens and use to play for the Pens at one time (he was in Quebec because he was coaching a PeeWee team that was playing in tournament we were there for). My son is the one pictured on the right.
Watching hockey gave me a good opportunity to stitch! I have been working on my Friendship RR -and just about finished with my hearts so that I will be able to get it back into the mailing cycle of the RR! yahoo!
Well...time to go put the boys to bed. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Lis

Looks like you had a wonderful time. That is a lovely picture, thanks for sharing.
Wow, I'm so jealous that you got to meet Mario!
It's always so exciting when playoffs are here and sad when they are over.
