Friendship Grows

As promised, here is a photo of my finished project. It is "Friendship Grows" by Lizzie*Kate (a free pattern on her website). I substituted a few of the colors with some varigated DMC, but for the most part used the Weeks Dye Works Floss the pattern called for. I stitched it 2 over 2 on 32count Linen (color: Jim Dandy Brown). I hot glued it on a bamboo pot that has an ivy plant. It is for a mother of one of Matthew's best friends. Since our boys have been in school together, we have become friends and have helped eachother by carpooling or watching eachother's boys. It is nice to have that kind of support when you don't have family to lean on.

This is one of my most favorite L*K designs..so versatile and adaptable. I made it into a pinkeep and added a little bee embellishment lol
Very nice, I am sure she will love it!
