Sunrise over Lake Superior - Lutsen, MN...photographed by my sister Jamie
There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
there are thousands to prophesy failure.
There are thousands to point out to you, one by one,
the dangers that await to assail you.
But just buckle in with a bit of a grin, just take off your coat and go to it;
just start to sing as you tackle the thing that “cannot be done,”
and you’ll do it.

~Edgar Guest

We can go through our whole lives worrying about our future happiness,
and totally miss where true peace lives--right here, right now.
~Peter Russell

Hope works in these ways: it looks for the good in people instead of harping on the worst;
it discovers what can be done instead of grumbling about what cannot;
it regards problems, large or small, as opportunities;
it pushes ahead when it would be easy to quit;
it "lights the candle" instead of "cursing the darkness."

Thank you to http://www.livinglifefully.com/ I had some special things to think about today and thought I would share them with you.

Late night at the rink and awaken up in mid-dream put me in "one of those kinds of moods" today - foggy headed and out of sorts. Hopefully I find my balance as the day goes on :)

Take care...until next time, remember -
