And so we start a new week...

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good - not much of a restful one as the boys had a lot of hockey; but at least it was here at home. Matthew (younger son) had morning practices both Saturday and Sunday...Robert (older son) had a game Saturday night (tied 2-2) and Sunday morning (tied 2-2). Looking back at the two days, I guess I did get in a couple of naps and some "sit-n-stitch" time, so it wasn't all that crazy :) I also enjoyed the 70 degree days - too a 3.4 mile jog with Robert on Friday afternoon and a 4.0 mile one by myself yesterday afternoon. It was pure joy!

In my last post I spoke about starting the ornament for the ornament swap over - I did find another cute design to stitch for Lori's ornament on Friday evening and was able to make time to work on it throughout the weekend. It is almost complete, just needs a few more trinkets, then to be finished, packaged and sent before the end of the week. It would be nice to get it in the mail before Thursday, as I am leaving on another hockey trip - this time with Matthew.

We are leaving Thursday morning for Florida. Booked us on a non-stop from here to there...taking in account the 3 hours difference between California on the west coast and Florida on the east coast, it will be about a 6 hour flight...ugh. Well, either a lot of stitching time or napping time, something to pass the time quickly.

With all the traveling we..."I"...have been doing with the boys lately, I will be glad when the hockey season comes to an end; or at least all the travelling is over. I know that DH would go, but with *The Business* still new to us and his full-time job, it is hard for him to feel comfortable enough to leave. I am sure that the time will come when he will start traveling with the boys again to their hockey tournaments, but after all the miles I have put in the sky lately, that time couldn't get here quick enough! Don't get me wrong, the time I spend with the boys during these weekends is priceless, but I just need a couple of weekend strung together where I am home enjoying all the craziness here in my own house!

Oh, well, enough rambling for one post. I will bid you "good-bye" at this time, until the next time - take care and remember...

Live, Love, Laugh and Stitch often!
Lisa

That's the thing about us hockey moms... it seems like the end of the season can't come soon enough, but when it's here we can't wait for it to start up again!! But seriously, I don't know how you're doing it right now, we're always on the go too, but it's all local! Kudos :)

Glad to hear you found another ornie to stitch up, I'm always worried mine won't turn out to my liking either. If you need a few extra days to mail it's not a problem :)

I couldn't do all the travelling that you do, see I HATE to fly! The thought just sends me into a panic although I would if I had NO other choice, LOL.

I'm just gettting caught up on my blog reading but hope you have a great time with the boys.
